Sea Mud Ceramics is a small handmade ceramic business based in Santa Cruz. The client wanted a design system that felt creative, fresh, and took inspiration from the ocean. She also wanted the ceramic work to be the star of the show and opted for a paired back design. For this project, I created a logo, branding system, typography, illustrations, paper goods, and e-commerce site.

I used photography and handmade materials including salvaged patchwork denim products to bring a grounded feeling to the site. I also illustrated a ‘Ceramic Siren’ to be used as a figure head for the project.
